Weekend Freeze and Burn

The weekend started off really well.
Went to see the Men's Finals: Djokovic vs. Federer. My first time watching a major tennis open. Really loved the game. Can't say much for the weather. I was burnt to crisp, but only realized this AFTER the game was over. Federer took the first set within 31 min. Very quick...I thought I would be out of here in less than 2 hours. Djokovic managed to take the game in the final 2 sets, so the game lasted 2h and 30 min.

Spring Fling was on Sunday. It got really hectic going back and forth to set up and what not.
I got a personal tour of Steve's Commissary. It was freezing cold in their, but it was like sushi heaven. I got to see the freshes Salmon and Tunas along with w/e ingredients you can think of to make sushi.
I had a great time connecting with the kids, and after the event. Leftover food to eat.

Lovely weekend

Events after events...sigh

With my last semester coming up, events after events seem to pile up. AND I NEED TO FINISH MY PAPERS T__T. I'm probably going to have to say no to some of these things...ugh I wish I had a job and a place of my own. XD

Back from Bolivia

Thanks for all those who supported us financially as well as spiritually through prayer.

Our trip to Bolivia was a major success, and we've seen God working through team M&M (Mississippi & Miami). We suffered minimal discomfort from the altitude change (only one of us took the full brunt), and was able to work and enjoy our time at Highlands Int'l School (H.I.S). Besides construction work, the team has really connected with the kids, who even though live in wealth, are somehow broken inside. The team gave them love that they so desperately seek, and more importantly gave the love of Jesus to them.

I wish I could put all details here, but I'm too lazy xP

Should opportunity rise again, I would definitely go to Bolivia once more.

This is my first missions trip. Excited, Elated, Fun

The packing of things were more stressful then I thought. Apparently the weather went from Miami Winter to so-cold- you're-nose-will-fall-off cold. Then I realize I need to make a quick target run 2morrow for some minor stuff.

My expectations for this trip, though limited, are that God will challenge us in ways we haven't been challenged before (going on this trip is already challenge #1). I just pray to God that we have all our things needed for the trip, including a servant heart.

When I come back I'll have stories to tell. And hopefully, I'll take enough picture to let you see what La Paz looks like.
